Sameday AI Pricing 2026: Launch, Scale and the Missing Terms
Published . Updated . Prices checked October 12, 2026.

Key takeaways
- Sameday AI starts at $449/month (500 minutes); 100 three-minute calls fit that plan on paper (prices checked October 12, 2026).
- Its minute slider highlights Scale at every selectable usage level below Enterprise, including usage that fits the Launch allowance.
- The company has not published its overage rate, minute rounding, spam billing, setup charges or paid-service cancellation rules.
- Sameday is built for home services and offers scheduling with field-service software, while escalation goes to your own staff.
Sameday AI starts at $449/month (500 minutes), and 100 three-minute calls a month fit its published Launch allowance for $449 (prices checked October 12, 2026). That is plan-card math, not a confirmed quote: Sameday's own usage slider selects the costlier Scale tier at that volume.
Sameday AI pricing plans
Prices checked against Sameday AI's own pricing page on October 12, 2026.
| Plan | Price and allowance | Past the allowance | The math |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $449/month for 500 minutes | Not published | $449 ÷ 500 min = $0.90/min |
| Scale | $789/month for 1,000 minutes | Not published | $789 ÷ 1,000 min = $0.79/min |
| Enterprise | Custom quote | Not published | Not computable |
Source: sameday.ai/pricing, read Oct 12, 2026. Both fixed-price cards say "Starts at," so their displayed amounts are floors. Enterprise has no published allowance or price. The pricing page promises "zero surprise fees," but it does not disclose a setup fee or an overage schedule. (Sameday pricing, read October 5, 2026)
Launch includes three locations and scheduling that the card labels "Pro scheduling (ServiceTitan etc)." Scale includes unlimited locations and voice cloning. Both list unlimited users. Enterprise adds multilingual voices, API access and custom integrations. Those are the vendor's plan descriptions, read October 5, 2026; the price of any separately negotiated work is not published.
Why the pricing slider matters
The same pricing page invites you to choose approximate monthly minutes. In the saved page's calculator code, read October 7, 2026, every selectable minute level below Enterprise highlights Scale, even the selections that fit Launch. Its first displayed Scale price is $789/month for 1,000 minutes. The code comment calls Launch "unreachable via this slider." That is a reason to ask Sameday which plan it will actually sell at your expected usage. We have not treated the slider as a separate public rate card.
The slider rises as expected minutes increase; the published plan cards do not explain how the intermediate figures become a quote or what happens if actual usage differs. Sameday says its quote sets "a consistent base rate for that usage level" and that the rate may change when expected usage changes materially. (Sameday cost guide, read October 7, 2026)
What Sameday AI costs at different call volumes
| Three-minute calls a month | Published plan-card cost | Cost per call | Annualized base |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | $449 | $8.98 a call | $5,388 |
| 100 | $449 | $4.49 a call | $5,388 |
| 200 | $789 | $3.94 a call | $9,468 |
Our arithmetic: the cheapest published plan whose allowance covers each volume, at 3 minutes per call. It assumes the plan-card floor is available, excludes fees and does not estimate unpublished overage. The annual column is twelve months of the same base, not a vendor annual offer. How we price.
At 100 calls, the modeled month contains 300 AI minutes and fits Launch's included allowance. At 200 calls, 600 minutes exceeds Launch, so the table uses Scale's larger included allowance. The table cannot tell you what Sameday would charge for 501 Launch minutes or 1,001 Scale minutes, since neither plan publishes an overage rate. It also cannot resolve the difference between the Launch card and the slider's Scale selection at low volume. Take your expected minute count to the demo and request a written price and allowance.
How Sameday AI counts a minute
- Billing unit: Flat rate set from the vendor's estimate of your AI minutes
- Rounding: Not published
- Time beyond the conversation: Not published
- Spam and short calls: Not published
Sameday says it estimates "the AI minutes you expect to use each month" to set the base rate. (Sameday cost guide, read October 7, 2026) It does not define whether ring time, transfer time, summaries, outgoing calls or messages consume those minutes. Nor does it say whether each call is rounded up. Its own guide names "Charges for spam, robocalls, and wrong numbers" as a hidden cost to ask about, but gives no Sameday policy. Ask for an invoice example with a short call, a wrong number and a transfer before comparing its base with a per-call service.
Fees, contract and trial
- Setup fee: Not published
- Contract: Customer agreement not public
- Trial: None (demo only)
The service's ServiceTitan integration FAQ, read October 7, 2026, says, "Sameday AI does not require a contract." Its website terms, read the same day, say paid services are available only under a separate "Customer Agreement" that controls if the documents conflict. That agreement was not linked on the pages we read. We therefore cannot verify the cancellation notice, renewal, refund rules or any early termination charge. Request the applicable agreement and quote before signing.
Sameday says round-the-clock answering is included in its monthly base. (Sameday cost guide, read October 7, 2026) It does not publish charges for onboarding or number porting. Its Experts page, read October 7, 2026, describes certified outside businesses that can help with setup and integrations; it does not give their fees. The pricing FAQ routes signup through a demo. No free trial terms were found on the pricing or demo pages.
The catch before choosing Sameday
- The starting plan is not selectable on its slider. Launch appears on the plan card, but the minute slider highlights Scale even at usage within Launch. Ask for the Launch offer in writing, with its included minutes and start date. (Pricing page and calculator code, read October 7, 2026)
- Flat means flat for the agreed usage level. Sameday says "if your expected usage changes materially, your rate may change too." A busy season may lead to a new base rate, even when there is no per-call meter on the advertised card. (Sameday cost guide, read October 7, 2026)
- The overage rule is missing. Both cards provide minute allowances but no overage rate or rule for crossing the allowance. Request the price for usage just above your expected tier, and whether the plan changes automatically. (Sameday pricing, read October 5, 2026)
- The paid-service agreement is missing. The published no-contract claim is narrower than a cancellation policy. The website terms point to a separate governing document, without the notice and renewal terms a buyer needs. (Website terms, read October 7, 2026)
- Human handoff uses your people. Sameday describes transferring an emergency caller to "your on-call dispatcher with a summary." That is valuable triage, but it is not a staffed human receptionist supplied by Sameday. (Handoff guide, read October 7, 2026)
Where Sameday fits
Its pages are aimed at home service shops that already use field-service software and have someone on call. The emergency triage playbook, read October 7, 2026, describes paging an on-call technician for urgent work and booking routine jobs for the morning. The ServiceTitan integration page, read October 7, 2026, describes appointment handling inside that system. If those workflows replace manual dispatch work for your shop, they can matter more than a generic message-taking rate.
The published plan cards make Scale easier to compare for a shop using more than Launch's allowance. For a smaller shop, insist on a Launch quote and test calls. Ask Sameday to show how its agent handles your service area, emergency criteria, existing phone number, booking permissions, Spanish callers and handoff when your technician does not answer. The bilingual playbook, read October 7, 2026, describes English and Spanish handling, while the price cards reserve "Multilingual voices" for Enterprise. The pages do not state whether Spanish requires Enterprise.
Sameday AI against published AI alternatives
These are published base costs for 100 three-minute calls under each vendor's own billing unit. Sameday is the highest priced of these four at that volume, based on its Launch card. The products serve different workflows, so compare booking and escalation as well as price.
| Service | Cost for 100 calls a month | Billing unit | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sameday AI | $449 | Flat rate set from the vendor's estimate of your AI minutes | sameday.ai/pricing, read Oct 12, 2026 |
| Go Answer AI Receptionist | $270 | Per AI minute | goanswer.io/ai-receptionist/pricing, read Oct 12, 2026 |
| Moneypenny AI Answering | $199 | Per call | moneypenny.com/us/plans-pricing-ai, read Oct 12, 2026 |
| Smith.ai AI Receptionist | $212.50 | Per answered call | smith.ai/pricing/ai-receptionist, read Oct 12, 2026 |
The Sameday figure assumes Launch can be bought at its card price. Go Answer prices AI minutes; Moneypenny and Smith.ai bill per call. None of these table amounts includes a fee with no published amount. For the larger market, see AI answering service pricing and live versus AI costs.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Sameday AI cost per month?
Its Launch card starts at $449/month (500 minutes). Scale starts at $789/month for 1,000 minutes. The slider selects Scale even at low usage, so request a written quote for the plan you expect to buy.
Can I buy Sameday Launch through the pricing slider?
The saved pricing page's calculator code highlights Scale at every selectable usage level before Enterprise. It does not present an active Launch selection. Ask Sameday to confirm Launch availability through its demo route.
Does Sameday AI charge for extra minutes?
The public plan cards list included minutes but no overage rate. The vendor says the base rate can change if expected usage changes materially. Ask what happens when actual usage first crosses your allowance, and get the answer on the order form.
Is Sameday AI month to month?
An integration FAQ says there is no long-term contract. The paid service is governed by a separate Customer Agreement that was not publicly linked on the pages read, so its cancellation notice and renewal rules still need review.
Does Sameday AI have a free trial?
We found a demo signup route, not published free trial terms. Ask what testing or cancellation window is included in the quote before treating a demo as a trial.
Does Sameday AI include a live receptionist?
Its published service is an AI phone agent. The described emergency handoff transfers a call to your own dispatcher or technician; the pages read do not describe Sameday staffing live agents for that step.
How these prices were read
Every price on this page was read from the vendor's own pricing page, on the date in its Source cell, and saved as a dated capture. Monthly plans use the cheapest published plan plus overage at 3-minute calls. AnswerAmerica shows the least upfront prepaid credit purchase covering that call volume; unused credits roll over. Vendors that hide prices stay in the tables as quote only. We do not test answering quality and publish no ratings.

Changes to these prices
- AnswerConnect and LEX Reception priced from their own /plans-direct pages, including setup fees and larger plans. PATLive added its 2,000 to 5,000-minute tiers. AnswerAmerica added with exact prepaid credit packages; comparison costs show the least upfront package purchase covering the call volume, with unused credits rolling over. Its terms charge wrong numbers and hangups, contrary to its price page. ReceptionHQ MessageExpress named in full. Specialty Answering Service cancellation summary and setup-fee summaries corrected. AI product terms added for Go Answer, Moneypenny and Smith.ai. The initial AnswerForce text capture appeared to stop at 1,000 minutes; the larger plans were later found in saved page JavaScript.
- Billing terms added for 18 providers from their terms, FAQ and help pages (read October 7, 2026): billing unit, rounding, time billed beyond the call, spam billing, setup fee, contract and trial. Alert Communications added (law firms only, kept out of the ranges). AnswerForce prices added from its /plans-direct page (Intro $349 for 200 minutes, Best value $389 for 300). VoiceNation now redirects to Moneypenny.
- Sameday AI added (home services only, read October 5, 2026): Launch from $449/month with 500 minutes, Scale from $789/month with 1,000 minutes. Like Slang.ai, it is listed but kept out of the category ranges because it serves one vertical.
- First edition: 30 providers read from their own pricing pages. AnswerConnect, AnswerForce, LEX Reception, Answering Legal and Nexa ask for a form or a sales call before showing a price, so they are listed as quote only. VoiceNation publishes the same plan table as Moneypenny (US), so that table is listed once, under Moneypenny.
